Volume II: Power Engineering presents a comprehensive collection of scientific contributions focused on the modernization, reliability, resilience, and sustainability of contemporary electric and thermal power systems. Addressing the challenges associated with digital transformation, decarbonization, and increasing energy demand, the volume provides analytical and methodological foundations for the development of next-generation energy infrastructures. The book is structured into two thematic sections: electric power engineering and heat power engineering. The first section examines advanced approaches to the integration of renewable energy sources, intelligent monitoring, operational control, and hybrid energy systems. Particular attention is devoted to the role of electric vehicles in grid flexibility and stability, power quality assessment, electromagnetic diagnostics, and adaptive load management. Several chapters investigate electromagnetic and dielectric processes in electrical equipment, including multilayer insulation systems, cable technologies, and grounding arrangements.
