Materials Chemistry

Materials Chemistry, a broad dscipline including hard and lightweight materials, bio-materials and superconductors, as well as the more traditional materials such as ceramics, polymers, and glasses focusing on the structure-property paradigm. Each class of materials highlights recycling techniques, and green methods of production. This book includes subjects on: defect structure, crystal structure, semi-crystalline materials, semi-conductors, superconductors, polymers, metals and alloys, bio-materials, ceramics, glass, lightweight materials and hard materials. An emphasis is placed on emerging subjects and discoveries throughout the field, as well as the possibilities of recycling of materials. The author examines all the relevant and newly emerging sub-disciplines within materials chemistry, without minimizing the already well-established subjects within the field.
