Neurorehabilitation in Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson’s disease is the second-most neurodegenerative illness and the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world. According to epidemiological studies, the number of people with Parkinson’s disease doubled to over 6 million from 1990 to 2015. This number is projected to double again to over 12 million by 2040. This book intends to support the clinical practice of health professionals in the assessment and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, based on the best scientific evidence.
