Produktbeschreibung
The continuous rise, since the avant-garde, of a non-lyrical and transmedial poetry blurs the limits of what can be considered poetic. In this context, what is the place of poetry? This apparently naïve question implies considering the full extent of the diversification of poetics, which, while assuming the rapid and transnational circulation of aesthetics, are committed to an intense dialogue with the local particularities of spaces marked by political struggles or extractivist exploitation. The tension between globalisation and (re)territorialisation constitutes a challenge to critically assume the proliferation of contemporary expressive forms and languages. From this perspective, it seems pertinent to study the place of poetry from the notion of ‘territory’, which will be approached from three different perspectives: as a geopolitical entity, as a publishing space of creation and dissemination and, finally, as a digital space. The 22 contributions by specialists will captivate readers interested in an interdisciplinary approach to Spanish-language poetry, combining knowledge of literary tradition, environmental humanities and transmedia studies.
