17th International Symposium on Human-Induced Vibrations and Seismic Influence on Structures

This book highlights the latest advances, innovations, and applications in the field of theoretical and experimental methods of analyses of the dynamic issues of civil engineering structures, as presented by international researchers at the 17th International Symposium on Human-Induced Vibrations and Seismic Influence on Structures (HIVIB), held in Kraków, Poland, on June 10–12, 2026. The event was meant to provide a unique platform to share results and explore future directions in natural- and human-induced seismicity, traffic-induced vibrations, seismic performance of civil engineering structures, advances in computational dynamics, structural health monitoring, and advances in dynamic experimental technique. The contributions, which were selected by means of a rigorous international peer-review process, present a wealth of exciting ideas that will open novel research directions.
