Dermoscopy of Tumors in Skin of Color

Dermoscopic examination has become an invaluable tool in diagnosing skin tumors, as it allows for the appreciation of relevant morphological details not visible to the naked eye, thus increasing diagnostic accuracy. Whereas most literature data traditionally come from studies conducted on fair-skinned populations, there is limited data on skin of color, which may display different findings due to the diverse color background and histological reaction patterns. This Atlas aims to fill this gap by summarizing all the related published data, providing a wealth of high-quality images to highlight the diagnostic clues in both clinical and dermoscopic contexts. The contents comprehensively cover all types skin tumors over 12 chapters with original high-quality figures and summarizing tables for each tumor that include dermoscopic and clinical clues, and histological background.
