The Practice of Enterprise Modeling

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 19th IFIP Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling, PoEM 2026, which took place in Mytilene, Lesvos, Greece, during December 1-3, 2026. PoEM offers a forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. This year the theme of the conference is Rethinking Enterprise Modeling in the Era of AI. The 24 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 70 submissions. They were organized in topical sections as follows: Requirements Engineering: Practice, Automation, and Education; Knowledge Graphs for Enterprise Decision-making; Process Modelling, Mining, and Execution; Human Perspectives on AI-supported Modeling; Safety, Privacy, and Assurance through Enterprise Models; Applying and Evaluating Model-driven Approaches; Models as Guides to Intelligent Systems; and Complex Systems and Digital Twins.
