Celebrating 25 years the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (Malba) Beautiful designed, this volume is the first comprehensive catalogue exploring the totality of the Malba-Costantini Collection, which is unrivalled for its quality in the area of Latin American 20th- and 21st-century art. It includes key works by artists such as Tarsila do Amaral, Antonio Berni, Lygia Clark, León Ferrari, Frida Kahlo, Wifredo Lam, Diego Rivera, Doris Salcedo, Xul Solar, Joaquín Torres García, and others. Since its inception in 2001, Malba has become a leading institution for the study and display of modern and contemporary Latin American art. Today, the Malba holdings, combined with the Eduardo F. Costantini Collection – which has been expanded following the recent acquisition of the Daros Latin America Collection – comprise more than 3,000 works of art by artists from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela, among other countries.
