Model United Nations in Japan

Recent studies on foreign language teaching show evidence that it is crucial to have skills in intercultural communicative competence. This book explores the experiences of Model UN participants in Japan regarding their mediation abilities and their views concerning interacting with other students from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The book evaluates the understanding of perceived intercultural communicative competence improvement through the strategy of mediation in a Model UN context in Japan.
