Another Earth – Another Practice

How do we reimagine architecture on a burning planet, facing a climate crisis driven by a fossil fuel economy and profit-driven, limitless growth? Instead of relying on depoliticized greenwashing, how can we envision and practice architecture with optimism? This book begins with the conviction that the way forward demands a radical reimagining of architecture—not only as a discipline, but also as a practice. It explores non-extractive ways of practicing, building, and unbuilding architecture for a future less reliant on carbon, highlighting specific inner workings of architectural practice that imagine alternative futures and their stories. The book opens with an introductory essay, followed by seven chapters, each focused on a project from the author’s architecture practice, NEMESTUDIO.Featuring work presented at the Biennale in Venice and SeoulInsights into architectural practice processesWith numerous drawings and illustrations
