Forensic Anthropology Case Studies

Forensic anthropology has long been viewed primarily as a laboratory discipline focused on the analysis and identification of human skeletal remains. This volume expands that perspective by demonstrating that forensic anthropological interpretations are strongest when laboratory analyses are integrated with insights gleaned from the outdoor forensic scene. Through the framework of Outdoor Crime Scene Reconstruction, this book presents forensic anthropology as an applied discipline dedicated to reconstructing past events of medicolegal significance.
